Stripes Burrito Co. was born from a deep desire to give back to the men and women who sacrificed everything for our freedom. Before we ever flipped a tortilla, we had a purpose. The food came second — the mission was always first.
Supporting Our Troops
Stripes is committed to supporting our troops by giving back to our local VA hospital. Since 2018, despite global and inflationary struggles, we've managed to donate more than $300,000 to our cause.
Award-Winning
Stripes Burrito Co. has been named Best Burrito by Albuquerque The Magazine for six consecutive years — a testament to our fresh, scratch-made New Mexican food. And since the Best Chicken Sandwich category launched, we've won it both years running. Our Famous Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich is a true Albuquerque original.

We chose Albuquerque because this is home. New Mexico has one of the highest per-capita veteran populations in the nation, and the Raymond G. Murphy VA Medical Center serves thousands of veterans every year. We wanted to be part of that support system.

These aren't decorations — they're dedications. Each display represents a real person who put their life on the line for our country. We believe their stories deserve to be told, and we are honored to share them with our guests every day.
Our financial commitment runs deep. A portion of all net proceeds from every Stripes location is donated to the Raymond G. Murphy VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, supporting healthcare, rehabilitation, and community programs for veterans throughout New Mexico.

At Stripes, “fast food” doesn't mean cutting corners. Every morning, our kitchen teams start from scratch — cracking real eggs, hand-cutting potatoes, frying bacon fresh, and preparing our signature red and green chile.
